Eyes on School Health: Vision of School Nursing 2020
Set your sights on Rhode Island and join us for an educational experience that will clarify your professional practice. From hands-on learning to nationally and regionally renowned speakers, let’s explore what our vision of school nursing looks like in 2020.
On Friday night, come early to network and relax with colleagues at an on-site wine tasting, hospitality, and registration. Then, attend one of the four pre-conference sessions.
On Saturday morning, Dr. Kay Nottingham Chaplin and Dr. Bruce Moore, our vision experts, will provide insight into the A, B, C’s of Vision. Breakout sessions featuring relevant topics are designed to keep your practice current.
All sessions align with NASN’s Framework for 21st Century School Nursing Practice and will bring your practice into focus.
Please join us for a fun-filled schedule of School Nurse Education, May 1-3, 2020, in Middletown, Rhode Island! Attend all three days and earn a total of 11 contact hours.
Exhibit & Sponsor
The Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teacher Association will be hosting the 2020 New England School Nurse Conference May 1-3, 2020 at the Wyndham Newport Hotel in Middletown, Rhode Island. The conference is currently being developed, but we will send a copy of the conference brochure to you as soon as possible. We invite you to consider being an exhibitor during our conference, and hope you will save the date to attend!
Exhibitors will be asked to set-up on the morning of May 2nd, and be ready for our registration and breakfast times. We have a separate area where nurses can visit your booths during registration, mid-morning and afternoon breaks and lunchtime. Our attendance is projected to be about 225 school nurses from all over New England. RICSNTA is a tax-exempt organization.
We look forward to your attendance at our conference and appreciate your support of the RICSNTA. If your company wishes to sponsor conference bags, lanyards, speaker fees, breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch, or the whole conference, please contact me ASAP so that we may include your company on all of our print material.
