The New England School Nurse Conference Eyes on School Health: Vision of School Nursing 2020 scheduled for May 1-3, 2020 at the Wyndham Newport Hotel in Middletown, Rhode Island is canceled. Please click here for more details...
Dear Presenter/Participant/Vendor,
The New England School Nurse Conference Committee, together with the Rhode Island Certified School Nurse Teachers Association, announced that the New England School Nurse Conference is canceled due to the national/international crisis related to COVID-19.
CDC and national leaders recommend essential travel only and groups of 50 or more should not congregate for the next 8 weeks as we tackle this health emergency together. We are committed first and foremost, as healthcare professionals, to keeping our families and colleagues safe and healthy for when we are able to resume our familiar daily routines both personal and professional.
We are deeply appreciative of our presenters for their willingness to attend, our participants who registered to join for a weekend of in-person learning and networking, and our vendors/sponsors who make conferences fun and interesting with a conversation, new technology, and methods to enhance the school health office.
Your registration will be refunded in full to your original method of payment. We hope to have refunds processed within 30-60 days. We appreciate your patience with this process.
All registered attendees must cancel any hotel reservations on their own. Presenter hotel reservations, made through conference coordinators, will be canceled for you.
Please stay tuned for announcements regarding the New England School Nurse Conference 2021 which will take place in New Hampshire.
Thank you for your commitment to school health.
Very best wishes to you and your families during this uncertain time.
Sincerely,
Amy Dark and Rhonda Sexton
New England School Nurse Conference Co-Chairs, Rhode Island
